Visiting St James
If you would like to visit the church, there are various opportunities to do so- come to one of our coffee mornings (held every second Saturday in the month), or to one of our Heritage Weekends where the church is usually open on a Saturday afternoon- keep an eye on the 'What's On' page for exact details. You can also email the Rector at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a specific requirement.
We have an electronic tour guide system running that you can use with your smartphone in the church. If you've a barcode scanner on your phone you can simply scan the QR code here which should take you straight to the tour, or please see the link below. There is a notice in the church with this information on, too.
If you can't get a signal in the church you are welcome to use our free guest WiFi, the connection details of which are also given inside the church.
The electronic guide will take you through the Nave, Tower, North Aisle, Pulpit, Chancel, Blythe Chapel and South Aisle with a wealth of interesting information about objects and windows in the church as well as history.
The tour is free however we would encourage you to make a small donation toward the upkeep of the church, so that future generations can continue to enjoy it.
Here are the details of the electronic church tour and how to get connected:
