 Whilst St James' is wealthy in the form of trusts set up to maintain the fabric of the building   and for that we are very grateful, however we are struggling considerably with the costs   involved with the day to day running of this beautiful building.

 Heating, insurances, etc. are all rising and affecting everyone, consequently donations are   down. 

 If you would like to support the Church, we would very much appreciate your donation.

 Gift Aid is an arrangement that allows charities (including churches) to reclaim tax on a   donation made by a UK taxpayer

 This means every donation will be worth 25% more, at no extra cost to the giver.

 For example, with Gift Aid the charity can claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated which   makes a huge difference

 We now have a Card reader which accepts most major credit and debit cards to enable you t   to donate to the church, or pay for events etc.
