Charities We Support

Here at St James we are pleased to support several local charities

Grace Foodbank Sheffield - The Grace Food Bank is a community group covering Lowedges, Norton, Batemoor, Jordanthorpe and surrounding areas, providing food parcels to families / individuals who find themselves in short term financial crisis. We always have a large box in the porch for your donations.

Sheffield Mothers Day Gift Appeal - We have a box in the porch for your donations.

Closing date is Saturday 1 March. They need chocolate, sweets, small gifts such as fluffy socks, scarves, purses, toiletry sets.  They also have an Amazon wish list.

Water Aid Lent Appeal - By taking part in WaterAid’s Lent Appeal, your can bring lasting clean water to homes and health clinics. It’s simple: give something up for Lent, donate the money you save, and together you will help poor families protect themselves against disease and infection with clean water

How does it work?  Please collect any money you save in a Jar of Change and we will donate it to WaterAid. Small jam jars are available for you to take away, or simply place your donation in the large jar on the table at the back of church.
