Services 

The best way to get to know us is to join us on a Sunday. You’re very welcome to come along whether you are exploring faith, already a Christian or just wanting to look in and see what’s happening.

We meet at 10:30am on a Sunday for Holy Communion, however the second Sunday of the month is a shorter All-Age Service. followed by a light lunch to which all are welcome. 

On the first Sunday of the month (except for January and August) we have Choral Evensong sung by the church choir at 6:15pm.

Remembrance Sunday -  To allow us to observe the two minutes silence at the cenotaph in London at 11am, our service begins at 10am.    

What to expect

Our Sunday morning services include a mixture of things: hymns/songs, prayers, Bible readings, a sermon. 

Will I be expected to say or do anything?

You can join in as little or as much as you like, we will never put you on the spot. During the service we sing and say some prayers together (these are all printed out to follow along with). You’d be very welcome to join in at those moments, but if you’d prefer simply to listen, that’s also absolutely fine.

How will I know what’s happening?

As you come in you’ll be given a service sheet to help you follow, a hymn book and everything else that you’ll need during the service. The person up front will explain anything else that needs to be explained.

How long will the service last?

Our services normally last somewhere between 1 hour and 1 hour and 20 minutes. There’s always tea and coffee afterwards ,so if you’re able to stay there’s no need to rush off, it would be lovely to meet you  and chat.

Can I bring children?

Absolutely! We love it when children join us at church, God is a God for all people, whatever their age! We have a children's corner at the back of church, where there are  toys and activities that may be be helpful to you. Don’t worry at all about children making noise during the service!

What do I wear?

There is no dress code! Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
